These things are very unlikely to happen again. WF got hit with tons of fees and penalties and invested hefty in their risk compliance departments This whole thing sent a shockwave across the industry that also benefited banks' employees. Tellers don't need to aggressively cross sell bank product anymore.
Good all-rounder for those looking for a generalist card and better than Apple Card for merchants who don't take Apple Pay (there are a sizable bunch). Points are awarded monthly and with a $25 minimum for statement credit or check back (Direct Deposit isn't possible unless you have a bank account with them). Wells Fargo's latest pay with points option (I think inspired by Chase Pay Yourself Back) can get around this threshold - redemption is 1 cent to 1 point and points balance must cover the entire amount (no partial offsets). Cell Phone Protection is a good plus, few cards offer a higher rewards rate on top of this perk.

Another thing - Wells Fargo act funny if you pay too many times a month online (I think over 3 payments blocks you from making online payments for the rest of the statement period), but you can always pay over the automated phone system if you exceed this limit.
FNBO also has a 2% cash back Visa with a pre-qualification link. Might be helpful for those who don't have perfect credit and are unsure if they'll get approved. It even tells you the credit limit they'll pre-qualify you for. I got approved yesterday; it'll be my highest limit card so far.

Yup... and 2.625% if you have 100k.

And it works with their other cards too- so you can get 5.25% cash back in various categories with the personal and business cash rewards cards at BoA.
This is interesting but do these BofA cards have any benefits? Don't see anything on their site.

The only benefit of any real value on the WF card is the cell phone protection- which a bunch of different cards offer...

Any World or World Elite Mastercard for example offers at least some coverage, as much or more than the WF card depending on the type... A number of annual fee cards offer better protection as well (and usually are profitable above their annual fees if you travel at all)

For example the IHG Premier card covers $800 per claim (instead of $600 for WF) but has an $89 AF... of course besides the better insurance you also get a certificate for a free hotel night each year, IHG Premium Elite Status, a $100 GE credit every 4 years, and an extra free night anytime you redeem points for 4 or more nights for that $89 so if you travel at all that's a pretty good deal.... the free night alone is often worth more than the AF let alone the other perks... (for heavier travelers there's a number of other premium travel cards that offer better-than-WF cell coverage too... )

Just a warning here. I've spent easily over $1000 on this card in under 1 month, and my rewards don't reflect the $200 cash back bonus. I'm not sure if they are waiting till the entire 3 month period of opening the card is up, but that's not how any of the other cards have worked. I have pretty much instantly received the benefits from a couple of chase cards, B of A card, citi, etc... Not sure what they are waiting for, but it seems semi-scammy to me.

Edit: Did an online chat with a rep and they said the $200 should show up between 1 and 2 billing cycles. Seems kinda slow compared to other cards but I guess it is what it is.

New to this. I am confused about cellphone protection. Does this mean I need to buy cellphone with this credit card to be eligible? Or does it mean If I pay tmobile monthly bill with this card makes you eligible for this protection? if so, do I need to pay for the device in installment plan in cellular service?
Confused

i have over $20K limits on all of my other cards
and these jokers would only give me a $6,000 limit despite having solid history with wells fargo (2 mortgages). they refused to raise the limit

i bet as soon as the 15mo 0% interest promo period is over, then they will raise it to whatever i want

Pretty disappointing that I didn't get a real time decision. Or one within 3-4 days for that matter. Are these things not automated?

I just applied and got an approval in less than a minute. It says the card will be mailed in 5-7 business days.
