These things are very unlikely to happen again. WF got hit with tons of fees and penalties and invested hefty in their risk compliance departments This whole thing sent a shockwave across the industry that also benefited banks' employees. Tellers don't need to aggressively cross sell bank product anymore.
Good all-rounder for those looking for a generalist card and better than Apple Card for merchants who don't take Apple Pay (there are a sizable bunch). Points are awarded monthly and with a $25 minimum for statement credit or check back (Direct Deposit isn't possible unless you have a bank account with them). Wells Fargo's latest pay with points option (I think inspired by Chase Pay Yourself Back) can get around this threshold - redemption is 1 cent to 1 point and points balance must cover the entire amount (no partial offsets). Cell Phone Protection is a good plus, few cards offer a higher rewards rate on top of this perk.

Another thing - Wells Fargo act funny if you pay too many times a month online (I think over 3 payments blocks you from making online payments for the rest of the statement period), but you can always pay over the automated phone system if you exceed this limit.
FNBO also has a 2% cash back Visa with a pre-qualification link. Might be helpful for those who don't have perfect credit and are unsure if they'll get approved. It even tells you the credit limit they'll pre-qualify you for. I got approved yesterday; it'll be my highest limit card so far.

Know I'm replying to an old comment. But were you instantly approved when you signed up? It said I was pre-approved for a $4100 limit, so I applied. But then it said they give me their decision by mail in 2-4 weeks. It's not looking good.

Got this card, but kinda sucks that they have a $25 requirement for cash back.. Makes purchases feel forced..

Rather use my PayPal credit card that's 2% everything & 3% PayPal purchases.

agreed. I have the WF Amex Propel.. and even though it has nice cash back on various categories, the forcing in allotments of $25 is the biggest drawback with WF cards. It's not even "at least $25". All of my other cards have no minimum requirement, and when you are ready, you can just redeem for the exact amount of the points balance.

Forcing exactly $25 somewhat makes you feel you have to keep spending to hit the next $25 redeem price point. There are so many other options with even dropping to a card with just 1.5% back, since you can do any redemption amount, IMO, those cards are more worth it since they don't have the "fixed $25 redemption" hassle. And, of course, there are a few 2%+ all around cards out there as well.

I got the following. And with interest rates going up, I really appreciate their 0% APR for next 15 months. Assuming 5% borrowing rate (HELOC etc.), this should rack-up close to 2k if I fully load up my card in the next 2-3 months.

Line of credit: $30000
Instant credit available: $12000
Purchase APR: 0.0% introductory APR for 15 months. After that your APR will be 20.24%. This APR will vary with the market based on the U.S. Prime Rate.

I have this card for 2 weeks now and was able to get a $22k credit limit on it. I asked to be increased to $60k but was denied because they say I have not had enough time with them yet. Applying to this card drop my credit score significantly, like about 50 points.
The con I see about this card is that you can only pay off your credit line 3 times a month with them through my BOA bill pay and they put a hold onto my account for 5 days until the credit is made available. Another con is that when I chose to have my rewards issued as a statement credit, it takes about 5 days to go through. My discover and chase unlimited goes right away and credits my account. I will give this card a shot since 2% is highest of all my cards and within 10 days, I have had over $1k of cash back already.
Are you going to make another attempt for credit line increase now that a few months have passed? I'll be curious if they increase it now. I can understand going from 22k to 60k may be tough but hopefully they do something

Also curious if they pull your credit again for a credit line increase

What will you purchase to fully load up your card? And is it easy to sell what you buy?

Got this card and I'm super happy with the cell phone protection! Put in a claim for a cracked front and back screen and was reimbursed (minus a $25 deductible) within days!
