Not knocking the deal as it is the best price currently, but don't trust that MSRP for a second. It's $629 (+89 shipping) from Sam's club, which includes their return policy. In the end that may be a better deal for some people.

I don't have this exact set but a very similar one by Marcy. Absolutely great purchase by me ~5 years ago. Still working perfectly and I use it ~5 times a week.

Can anyone tell if the bar comes with it? I understand that the weight plates don't, but I didn't see anywhere that the bar does... (this may be a dumb question and I apologize in advance).

--UPDATE: it comes with the locking bar but no weights.

Not a bad deal but definitely more expensive with the $90 shipping.

Overall it looks good, but now I don't feel like it's a deal and will hold out, as I don't actually need this.

Yup, it comes with the bar but it's not detachable if that's what you're looking for.
