Maybe these will show up. I ordered 2 blankets from Walmart off a deal last October. They're still not here.

Yes, they do, but I'd say it probably depends on the person and getting the appropriate size/weight. I am an anxious person, and I didn't always get the best sleep. I always needed to have a blanket or comforter covering me, no matter the weather. When I got my weighted blanket, it seemed like a natural transition from how I usually slept. I love the feel of the blanket on me and can't sleep right at night without it.

You also need to consider the size. Even if you get the recommended weight for your body weight, if it's a bigger blanket, the weight is distributed over a larger area, so it may not feel adequate.

My friend isn't particularly anxious but just wanted one. He sleeps hot, so either he got the recommended weight or went slightly down in weight. He's really happy with his too.

Consider your personal preferences, but I'm an advocate for them and really enjoy mine. Hope that helps.

Edit: Also, I just pointing out that I don't have this particular blanket, I have something else. But you seemed to be asking about them in general anyway.

Thanks OP! Smilie

General rule is to buy a weighted blanket that is 10% of your body weight. This blanket is good for someone approx. 120lbs.

You always have to buy three.
If two is one and one is none, the only way you can own any of anything is to get at least 3 of them.

That logic works on my wife with racecars, so I'm sticking to it.

Do these blankets even work? Does it really help people with anxiousness or trouble sleeping? Please be honest if you respond to this. I would rather go off real testimonials than reviews since those are always hit and miss.

The last ones here were a scam and none were delivered. People had to fight Walmart, banks and credit cards to get their money back. It was a vicious cycle where Walmart couldn't do anything but wait to see if they got shipped but none ever did.

I can't speak for anyone else but I've slept for 25 years under a hand made quilt made of blue jeans. Basically a weighted blanket before the fad. I have a lot more issues sleeping under regular blankets than that heavy jeans quilt. So it either works for me or I am so used to it now that I require it.

Thank you very much for the response. In for 1 for my wife. I would probably need to get a little bigger since I weigh 185lb but atleast I will get to try it out.

I paid $17 for one of these on a black friday deal- 12 pound same brand but different packaging

I liked it even though I weigh more than 120

But--- this is only good for 3-4 months of the year the rest of the time its too hot

You can't go wrong for this price
