You also need to consider the size. Even if you get the recommended weight for your body weight, if it's a bigger blanket, the weight is distributed over a larger area, so it may not feel adequate.
My friend isn't particularly anxious but just wanted one. He sleeps hot, so either he got the recommended weight or went slightly down in weight. He's really happy with his too.
Consider your personal preferences, but I'm an advocate for them and really enjoy mine. Hope that helps.
Edit: Also, I just pointing out that I don't have this particular blanket, I have something else. But you seemed to be asking about them in general anyway.

General rule is to buy a weighted blanket that is 10% of your body weight. This blanket is good for someone approx. 120lbs.

I liked it even though I weigh more than 120
But--- this is only good for 3-4 months of the year the rest of the time its too hot
