Hm that's a bummer. You can tried getting a virtual tmobile number on eBay. It worked for me last year too.

This is helpful. Do you have a suggested carrier from which to get a throwaway number? I imagine everyone will have a spare phone (their current phone, unless it's completely broken or lost).
