Also, Dell already released BIOS v1.3.3 update for G15 5511(11th gen intel version) that provided MUX switch in BIOS. It has been tested and did improve GPU perf a lot. And it is said that Dell will also release one for this AMD version.

1) Does the screen operate at 165hz in the OS too or just in games? My cell phone has a 120hz screen and I love it compared to 60hz. Not sure if that would just work in games though.
2) I'm probably going to use this for mostly Netflix/Hulu/etc with some light gaming (Civ V, AOE 2 etc) but may try some newer games since the graphics card is good. I have an xbox series X though so will mostly game on that. So with that being said, is this laptop absurdly overpowered for that? Like am I going to have it sitting in my lap for Netflix and be like "wtf did I get this giant heavy laptop for Netflix..."

2) The laptop is definitely overkill for Netflix but if you plan on gaming this is a good card to give you good performance. I don't put a laptop on my lap so that's for you to decide.
My issue was when the price dropped to $1199 about a week ago, I did price adjustment once. Now their system does not allow further pm/credit anymore

EDIT - turns out this was the same video, but I'll leave this here because people keep asking questions that were answered here (upgradability, etc).

How loud are the fans while mining? Can it sit next to you while watching TV or does it need to be in another room because it is so loud?
And final question. Knowing this laptop, would you pay the extra $100 for the Alienware m15 version?
