For sure. Recently bought fire hd 10 plus. I am disappointed with this tablet. Worth noting, Fire tablet doesnt support mirroring ( to TV, Roku, Fire TV ). They have removed this functionality.

The Google playstore access alone is worth the upgrade. I think any basic real android device is an upgrade from Amazon tablets.

That's how they verify whether you qualify for the EDU/EPP discount

You're referring to a different cover. The one that came with this deal is the Keyboard Cover, which is $90 and has been OOS since late yesterday

I just use a tool that removes everything Amazon and use Microsoft Android launcher, works pretty much like Android tablet with all Android app, only issue is that it's not a fast tablet obviously.
You can easily add Google Play Store access to any Kindle device. It takes a few minutes to do, and it does not require anything special.

Google it, and you will see how easy it is to do.

We've had one since the fall and a Costco deal and it is excellent. We use it mainly as a media device, Netflix, Disney and so on and basic email/smart home controller. It's quite good, the screen and speakers are solid for the price point and size.

If this price is true then this is outrageous deal… one should go for it if their budget is around $150.. there is not really many better options out there at this price bracket.

ah gotcha. I don't even know how those photos got there as I definitely wasn't the one who added them

My thoughts exactly. Unless you already own a tablet, this seems like a no brainer for someone looking for an entry level tablet
