Supposedly 125-130W

Lack of USB-PD charging on this Alienware makes me think the Lenovo Legions (similar specs are around this same price) may still be worth a little longer wait. I'd have to compare all the other features, but I've been waiting for a decently-priced gaming laptop that can be used occasionally for workand travel without carrying the large power brick. USB-PD is awesome to have.

I think this is the first time I've seen an Alienware laptop that can be classed as a downright bargain, and not just a "good deal"

Noob here, can one connect this laptop to a bigger screen and use this for school work? I have papers i research so i hv a wide screen monitor that i would like to use to read and then type papers. On this screen it would be not great since its only 15 inch. But i could game when i need to too.

Why do all these high end pcs come with Windows "Home"? Windows Home is for Homer's. 🙃

Windows 10 Pro doesn't add much value to a gamer over Home. It includes some security features that are more intended for business professionals. But if you really want the Pro, you can get it on eBay for less than $5.

this is a Dell G series cheap chassis that runs very hot and underperforms vs competitors(jarrods tech). why buy this over dell g15 which is 1070$, or l5P at 1420$ 2TB, Or legion 5

Did Dell drop the price of the Cherry mechanical keyboard a lot recently?

I remember it being more than $98.

edit: Laptop reviews on the Dell site are not pretty.

2070 super still beats this card by a mile btw. But, it's getting harder to get that old GPU.

Yup, this model has HDMI 2.1 and USB Type C ports to which you can connect an external monitor.

No point in paying extra for the Alienware when the g15 is almost identical.

Agreed, i laugh because people hype the rtx 3060 mobile. If it was 3070 high tdp then ok I would bow. My zephyrus s from last year prime day with a 2070 max q no less still trounce this. I reckon it cools amazingly

Everywhere I look the 3060 mobile beats the 2070 max q. Where are you getting your data? Not to mention the CPU in this laptop more than likely beats your zephyrus.

Same here. Trying to decide between this or the G15.
