Separate line? I guess it overpasses the trap? Does it have it's own trap? Also most clogged toilets will have certain stuff floating around in the water, especially things like toilet paper can probably easily block these small lines, still a good idea but I am not sure if it's that effective.

"Rental"
Probably means for a house that he rents to others.

Rental means a rental house. It means the person is buying this to install in his/her rental house. Nope, it is not going to be "returned"

Or would it be considered "re-turd"

Bought one of these a few months ago to replace a builder grade toilet. Only complaint is it is kind of loud when it flushes. May buy another at this price.

To me a rental toilet means I can charge to rent the toilet to people passing by, say for $5 per use.

I know nothing about toilets (except how to use them) trying to replace my current 16yr old ones. Is there anything I should look for when buying or would this more than suffice?
Check out Terry Love's page on toilets. He's a plumber and has a no frills website with great toilet info that's been online for at least a decade. I had no idea what a glazed trapway was or the difference between skirted and non-skirted toilets (hint: get a skirted toilet if there's room in the budget).

I am actually in the market for a toilet (even set up an alert for it) and wanted one conveniently at the Lowe's nearby. I was scrolling through the frontpage today thinking, what are the chances there's a toilet from Lowe's, and low and behold lol.

However, I was also thinking what are the chances it'll be at the specifications I'm looking for, which is also a small and big flush, and a single piece (for easy cleaning), which sadly this doesn't have. Not worth it for the extremely rare times your toilet would overflow.

Seems kinda disgusting if it's overflowing and particles get in the overflow area, it doesn't seem like you could clean it and you can't even rinse it out after you unclog

It's a silly gimmick IMHO that is as they say "a problem looking for a solution". That beside, why are all these toilets now "chair height" and why do most get a lot of bad reviews? "Chair Height" is not really good for taking a crap where lower is better. I have old 21 year old builder's grade toilets that work fine but always am looking for a high efficiency model yet most seem to have so many issues. How can something so simple be done so poorly?

Lowes has the Aquasense Henshaw toilets for $75 every day. I've installed 4 9f them in 2 different homes and they are excellent. Why bother with these cheap trash ones?
$75 everyday but not instock. so whats your point.

these cheap trash ones are $129 retail. yours is $85. you got what you paid for

speaking from your own perspective. most of us are at avg height and we need a taller bowl.
