Separate line? I guess it overpasses the trap? Does it have it's own trap? Also most clogged toilets will have certain stuff floating around in the water, especially things like toilet paper can probably easily block these small lines, still a good idea but I am not sure if it's that effective.

Thanks!
The video says that the water through the rinse holes also flush the pathways through the overflow holes so you don't have to worry about overflow bits getting stuck in the drain.

I don't like the taller chair height toilets (for the same reason SquattyPotty needs to exist) but it may be necessary for them to fit the extra drainage.
I think that the overflow holes do affect using a plunger on them. I had to plunger something my kids did and it took forever to get it to clear.

It seemed like the pressure that would get forced down the drain to clear the clog actually went out the vent holes.

that jacuzzi looks like a discontinued item.

i looked through the first 100 reviews. heres why these are this cheap and on final clearance.

made in china and built for smaller chinese people. the size is smaller. both on the bowl size and is narrower from the wall. it could fit on your 12 in to the bolt meassurement but there is a big space gap from the tank to wall.

basically they shrink they whole toilet by an inch compared to american standard size.

very low sitting water in bowl. cant adjust any higher. good for peeing but not for large dumps. how did they come up with this water setting? based on their own people avg dumps?

cheap quality. built and designed not for americans. got alot of returns. final clearance.
I cant believe 10 people clicked on like button on this. The comment sounds like purely based on imaginations. If you have experiences in international business, you know that the factories have different sizing for different markets for products like clothing, or toilet in this case. Speaking of "cheap quality", toilets or products in general got so much better in the modern days. You would not need to worry as long as you are below 500lb.
There are 350+ reviews with a 4.5 score in average, 95% people say they are satisfied with their purchase. I dont know where they see the "first 100 reviews they read" saying it is cheap quality, a lot of returns.
My guess is this person does not know anything nor owning the toilet he/she commenting, but seeing "made in china", the bias kicks in right away.

Recently needed a new toilet. Been buying Lowes/hd toilets for years
This time I wanted 3 inch flush valve and standard height (not ada) with an elongated bowl. Went to a supply house and left with an American standard cadet pro for $189. I'll never buy another toilet from home Depot again. Especially a no name brand.

Can anyone tell me how big the box it comes in is? I want to know how many I can fit in my hatchback. I can't seem to find the packaging dimensions, only the assembled.

I actually had one of those on a toilet I replaced. It wobbled. Replaced with a normal wax ring and it didn't wobble. Granted, the flange was not recessed a quarter inch like it should have been, but the rubber insert got me once.
It doesn't prevent wobbling... it prevents leaks if there is wobbling. Wax will compress while wobbling and then not decompress thus causing gaps and susceptibility to leakage from underneath the toilet. Not an issue if installed correctly and bolts stay tight and nobody is rocking back and forth while pooping, but I think of it as cheap insurance against kids/guests/time. Wax DOES work just fine though and is the cheapest option.

looking for some cheap elongated toilets to replace my rounded ones so i can buy my costco elongated bidets. i guess this is it. however just wonder why they are on clearance. all stores. at $64. big question mark.

elongated bidet is a must. round one has no room.
It's probably useless. I haven't had a toilet overflow for many many many years. The new toilets are very well engineered. Kohler has a great flush system called the "power tower" or something like that. It flushes with a great deal of force, but the bowl is so well designed that even with the high flow rate of the tank valve, it just pushes through whatever.

Also keep in mind that it's not ADA compliant unless it's installed in an ADA-compliant bathroom... and who gives a shit about that in a residential home, anyway? They have no power or jurisdiction in a private household.

If we could harness the collective brain power exhibited on this thread we would've had a covid vaccine the day it manifested itself.

The overflow is through a separate "pipe".
Usually the clog is in the trap which means that this overflow won't hurt it.
If the clog is in the sewer pipe main, then yes it might be detriment but that's very rare because that usually has a wider diameter than the rest of the system.
