if youve somehow never played this, this will be the best 2.50 cents you could possible spend

the games single player is arguably one of the best action open world game experiences

Surprisingly more fun game than GTA V. Must play if you like the genre.

The plot is amazing. Wish they made more, but the original developers were disbanded and the sequel didn't materialize.

It's basically like taking every HK gangster movie plot form the 80s-2000s w/ some real hidden history, smooshing it together into 1 single player experience.



They could easily do another game with the whole Macau timeline.. Buhhh.. sigh..... maybe some day.

I don't know about that, but this game is if someone make a Hong Kong blood opera into a GTA. It is an awesome game no doubt.

Here to praise this amazing game! The combat and writing and voice acting is all on point! Played this on a GTX 670 and loved it from start to finish.

The original ran fine on 670, this definitive edition has the atmospheric fog which needs a little more HP to run.

It looks totally like hongkong now. Assuming you know what hongkong looks like, well it looks like this. Big Grin

I can see people enjoying Sleeping Dogs more than GTA V but yeah, you might be overselling it and setting people up for disappointment if you claim it's more fun than GTA V. Personally think it sits somewhere between GTA IV and GTA V. It's an amazing game and I started it back up again about 3-4 months ago and sat through a 5 hour session just like that.
