Came across this on CamelCamelCamel. From what i recall the EVGA supernova stuff is nice. Would jump on it if I was in need, sadly not. Also trying really hard not to hoard PC parts.

HEC OEM, but EVGA branded. Pretty much only Seasonic brands ones they build.
(I mean, Superflower does too, but they're not one of the top selling brands.)
Still I've seen some Seasonic 650 gold deals recently for around 60ish with rebate (I got a platinum which is still in the box but rebate was approved woohoo) which I think are more worthy options to wait for.

Or the Super flower made models which also go on sale fairly frequently. But I guess if you need it ASAP, this is fantastic and in the past 30-45$ would only get a bronze PSU with 3-4 yr warranty. This has 7! cost will add up tho and last RMA was $20 shipping for me however EVGA is good on their warranty!

I haven't found any particularly in-depth reviews of either this or the GA version, but jonnyguru did just post this last week in favor of the GT over the GA: https://linustechtips.com/topic/1...t=14841803 [linustechtips.com]
Good comments of GT by jonnyguru here as well: https://forums.tomshardware.com/t...t-22339393

It's weird seeing JonnyGURU on Tom's Hardware. I was there VERY actively from 2010-12, before I started mostly posting on Slickdeals. He wasn't there posting on the PSU forum posts at the time. I know because I was linking his articles.

Anyhow, it's just odd seeing his account is from 2006 and appears to be fairly active. Maybe most of his posts were pre-2010?

This one's probably perfectly fine--especially considering I don't even have a system I'm putting it in yet. I just needed a serviceable backup in case anything comes up.

OEM by HEC, which I won't trust. If you want a solid PSU, go with G3. They are manufactured by super flower.
