When this came up in April I was very close to pulling the trigger, but another user shared their experience using K&V brackets instead. I went that route, saved a few bucks at Ace, and feel much more confident in their strength.

These things are a good deal, hold a lot of lumber in a very compact space. You can not make something cheaper, more efficient or better out of wood. Do get good fasteners for them and make sure you get plenty of bite into a structural stud or other solid wood.

Make sure your wall can support these and the woods. Dangerous at seismic active regions.

Look for a good organizing system for rakes, shovels, etc. Got excited when I saw this but for different application.

Anyone have recommendations on stuff I mentioned with long handles?

I use a bunch of these on 4 or 7' fast track rails:

This isn't K&V brand but I was curious..these 10" brackets hold 120lb per pair [menards.com], which basically matches this deal, and a set of two vertical 'posts' plus 6 pairs (12 total) brackets runs you a net of $22.66+tax at Menard's currently. I would think it'd be roughly the same at any other hardware store. Thanks for sharing!

Bought last deal, screwed it into cement recently. It holds a good amount, 4 2x boards high on each shelf, probably 16 2x4s on one shelf

Do these have enough depth for surfboards?
