Just a heads up for slickdealers. I have been ordering the refills from AMAZON for years. The last 2 packs that I ordered fall apart as soon as you put them in the water. It is so bad they sometimes fall off of the plastic holder and you have to fish them out of the toilet bowl. They are branded "CLOROX" but I believe they are counterfeit based on the total lack of durability. I will NOT be ordering these from AMAZON in the future but will acquire them locally instead. Consider yourself forewarned!

Thank you! I find so many "ships and sold by Amazon" items are counterfeit or stored in a warehouse with reseller items so it's luck of the draw.

ETA coupon is only $1.56 now anyway.

I bought 2 boxes of these at Walmart and both boxes were defective. The entire thing fell apart once it hit the water, just as yours did. I had to fish them out as well. Not impressed. So I'd say it's not counterfeit, but a bad product that needs fixed.
