I got my Strat on this deal last month. Definitely not as dark a blue as the picture looks. Almost turquoise in person. Still a great deal.

I feel like this guitar has been posted on slickdeals about 100 times over the past 3 years.

I got a similar Mexican strat from them and it seems great to me, but I'm more of an acoustic player so maybe not the best judge

Actually this has went out of stock a few times. It's just a color specific to Adorama. And yes it goes on sale, just like the green and black maple player strats exclusive to guitar center routinely go on sale for $649 like they are right now.

I had the LPB Duo-Sonic from Adorama a few years ago and it was beautiful. Wish I never got rid of it but wanted a trade at the time. I'm so close to pulling the trigger on the strat this time but I really want something with a humbucker. The GC special is nice but costs quite a bit more on sale.

FWIW the previous thread said they were getting made in 2021 stamped guitars. Not 3 year old, old stock. Yes, Adorama has had this color on sale on and off for awhile (not 3 years, more like a year and a half). They do make guitars in the same color for more than one year, it's not uncommon.

There are plenty of threads with these that have shown people getting brand new, grade A guitars. Some people have been unhappy. That happens with all makes/models. But these are new guitars. My duo-sonic was new and flawless and many others have had the same experience. Like I said there have been a few bad ones, and you send it back then.
