Been waiting for the Mummy Trilogy 4K to drop to $20, which matches it's cheapest ever price according to camelcamelcamel.

Thanks!

The first Mummy is the only one they did a good HDR upgrade on, unfortunately.

They did a great job on the HDR for the first Mummy. Then they seemed to stop caring after that.

Mixed reviews on the Shaun/Fuzz/World set. Apparently the Hot Fuzz 4k transfer is worse than the Blu-Ray, and World's End not much better.

Great movies though!

Edit: Reading through them again, I agree the reviews, while less than stellar, don't say the 4k is "worse." But I looked through lots of comments in the community last time this was on sale and lots of people were not impressed, for whatever that's worth.

That's not what the review says at all.

So much for the Prime Day exclusive. Just within a few weeks those lightning deals become mainstream.

Yeah, the reviews you posted recommended both of the UHD over the Blu-ray versions. They say they aren't reference quality discs, and there is room for improvement, but they are recommended.

On Blu-ray.com, one movie's UHD score is not comparable to the movie's Blu-ray score, but rather comparable to other UHD discs. So, even though for this film, the UHD score is lower than the Blu-ray score, it is not saying that the Blu-ray is a better visual transfer than the UHD. It's saying that the Blu-ray was one of the best looking Blu-ray discs (at the time of release) and that the UHD disc is not necessarily great when compared with other UHD movies today.

So, you can decide if it's worth the price for a modest upgrade in texture and the added HDR.

This is going to sound crazy, but aren't there 5 Mummy movies?

Where's Scorpion King and Tom Cruise?
Or were they so bad that they were willfully excluded?

Love these classics, glad to get the 4K version in one box. I totally forgot about my prime day 10 dollar credit and was surprised I was still able to use it! Thanks!
