For what it's worth I've bought some stuff from Aukey and been pleased with it. Didn't get any discounts/free product (but that's exactly what a shill would say).

Funny how all the comments talking about "shills" are "coincidentally" complaining about usb cables.
Gotta give your turks other AUKEY products to complain about, Amazon. They're getting too obvious.
Did you try their customer support via their website? Their headphones didn't have good reviews before they got banned btw.. I mean, everyone cheats so they all have 4+ stars, but if you aren't an idiot and read the reviews you could tell their headphones were iffy. The better headphones had more like 4.5-5* average vs 4.0 for AUKEY's. Like someone else said, urlhasbeenblocked headphones are great, they were one of the 4.7ish rated ones, but they got banned too. 🙄 I tried both company's wireless earbuds, AUKEY had a lot of BT quality issues caused, I would guess, by trying to modulate signal to extend battery life. urlhasbeenblocked's modulate too but they're a lot smarter so the disconnects are more rare. AUKEY did have better water proofing, but it didn't matter because the stupid capacitive buttons go crazy when wet so it defeats the purpose.
Still, I'll bet AUKEY will honor your warranty and replace them, maybe even refund them. Every time I've dealt with their customer service it has been smooth. I've had them replace the DR02 dash cams many times, no complaints. And it's not because the DR02 is bad, all the dash cams have the same issues with chips dying in heat. They're just the only company that backs their dash cam. (next best is viofo, they've been forced by competition with AUKEY to offer a 1.5yr warranty, AUKEY's is 2yrs.. I bet they happily kicked Amazon some money for this) They're not a shitty company like Amazon is making them out to be.

This sounds like maybe they're punishing Amazon buyers, because technically you bought it from Amazon not them.
But really that is on Amazon.. Sounds like they didn't even bother to work out how the returns and things are handled. They take a cut from the sales, and in return they manage warehouse supply and returns for the sellers. They took their cut from your purchase, they should be handling the returns.
Sorry for the late reply.
We have communicated with the seller and learned that there was a problem with their store, and all products couldn't be reissued nor can they refund you.
In this case, could you please contact Amazon directly to get the refund?
They will reject you at first, but they will refund you eventually. Because Amazon is a very big company, they attach great importance to the ideas of their customers, please try to communicate with a few times.
We're so sorry about this issue.
Best regards

It might be that, also might be that the USB plug wiring is loose inside. When they're run in extreme heat the contacts can get brittle and loose, had it happen. To the other poster, hopefully he sees this, try to get it replaced on warranty asap if it isn't just the loose cable. The on/off randomly is mildly annoying, but for me it ended up frying something on the camera board entirely (nice burnt electronics smell) and taking out the back camera with it.
If you get it replaced and want to tinker with the old one, you can take them apart and resolder loose contacts. Sucks they break like this, but I haven't seen any dash cams that don't have these issues from the extreme heat they see.
Yeah, DR02, I've pulled license plates from them several times. At night it's very difficult or impossible, headlight glare makes plates look white, but during the day I've always been able to find a frame of the video where a plate is readable. And you won't find better, especially at this price.
I keep my fingers crossed someone makes a better product or extends their warranties before AUKEY stops making this camera, but I haven't seen it yet.
Yeah it hasn't been below 90 (on Amazon) for a year or two that I can remember.. So very good deal. Back in the day, they actually dropped down to 60 I think, for prime day or something.. But that was years ago.
They didn't change the model number, which is weird, but the last one I bought from Amazon a few months ago is not the same as they were before. It must have a better sensor or lens (clearer picture), faster processor, and the power cord / rear camera cables are different (look the same but old cable doesn't work with the new camera). That last part is annoying af because I had the old one run inside of trims so I need to redo that. Also the new ones don't seem as beefy as the old ones, so I worry if they'll last as long.
But I've been using these for about 4 years in two cars, they burn out every other summer for me (extreme heat), so I got about 3-4yrs from one purchase per car. Any other dash cam company would definitely not do that. And in practice, great cameras, used them for quite a few incidents unfortunately, they've always worked and been very helpful. Be careful with modes though.. Parking mode on the old one was completely useless as it didn't have a buffer.. It also sucked down a lot of juice since the processor was constantly running the motion algorithm. I didn't think to test the new one on motion detect. But better to just get a 128gb memory card and turn off motion detect.
And if you want sd cards to last longer, take them out and copy the data off, then delete it. Running write commands endlessly without ever running read commands on flash is bad for it. Or get "endurance" cards.
Nah. Remember, anything that can be used legitimately will be abused illegitimately. Replies would just be more of the same deception, etc. Remember not all fake reviews are good, every product has ridiculous stupid bad reviews paid for by a competitor.
The problem is Amazon is more interested in money than making reviews accurate. They don't project a rise in quarter 3 profits from making reviews more legit, so it'll never happen now.

Been reading through replies and figured I'd answer you since the solution is scattered around...
sounds like the divorced parents Amazon and AUKEY are shifting responsibility. Unfortunate, I've always had such good CS with AUKEY. it sucks if when my camera breaks I can only get a refund instead of replacement.
Ultimately it's on Amazon to give you a replacement (which they can't do obviously) or refund, because it was on their site. They took a cut from the sale to manage inventory and logistics like returns, so they should do it. They just don't want to but AUKEY is basically making you go through them. So email AUKEY and they'll apparently send you to Amazon, and people say push for a manager at Amazon and they eventually will refund it.
EDIT: Lol, for all the Amazon bootlickers just take a look at how many "unhelpful" votes my posts have... if the shills are in here waging war, Amazon's slaves are winning
