Yeah. Fine price if you need sawsall blades too but $55 for the oscillating blades aren't great when 95% of what's included is for wood. One of them can be used on soft metal but those are the ones I typically run out of.

I have used these for a project the last couple of weekends. Wood ones work great. The Bi-Metal ones don't last long when it comes to cutting thick 100 year old nails.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

These oscillating blades use "Universal" Fit OPEN-LOK and compatible with Fein. Great, but look closer…these "universal" blades have a disclaimer that they will not fit the Starlock locking mechanism which happens to be found on every single Fein Multimaster oscillating multi-tool currently sold in store by Home Depot.

Appreciate the post! I find myself using the osc tool quit regularly for projects around the house, mostly on wood. I bought the knockoff brand on Amazon, I believe the 20 piece w wood and bi-metal, and they work well. Still have them over two years later, for half the cost.

Any idea if the multi tool or recip blades will work for ryobi tools?

Once you try the carbide teeth recip blades it is hard to go back to the thinner, cheaper ones.

I think the makita uses same blade as the Fein. So would not work.

that $42 set isn't bad. Wish it had a pruning blade for the reciprocating saw too. I need one of those anyways.

I'm a little apprehensive about purchasing Milwaukee oscillating blades after watching this test video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joVfNnbweYY

After checking more. Looks like it will work. Only seems to be the newest models that have the starlock
