Patently false
Reputable manufacturers specify the luminosity according to the ISO 21118 standard. Projectors on Amazon selling for ~$100 post luminosity figures without specifying conditions. In other words, they're marketing BS.
Also, resolution and brightness (whether falsified or accurate) are not the only metrics that determine a good image.
If you can point me to a ~$100 projector that is 1080p+ native and has more than 2500 lumens according to the ANSI or ISO 21118 standard, I'll eat my words and consider buying you a beverage. Otherwise, please stop trolling.

For $50 less you can get the non wireless one. Bought it for outdoor movie nights during the summer- great picture and color once it gets dark.

VIVIMAGE Explore 7000L 8W Native 1080p WiFi Projector with 100" Projector Screen at Amazon

It might work but quality is suspect. Also, almost all the reviews are fake. Plus, it's $180 (there might be a 5% coupon), not $86. If it was $80 and included a screen it almost might be worth it if you don't care much about quality or reliability.

Which one is without wireless?

What are the benefits to wireless besides streaming?

Only 2500 lumens and 1080p. You can get better on Amazon for like $100.

3700 vs 3800?
Pretty big price gap..
I say 3700 unless you need 4k immediately (especially if you're a gamer as the 3800 is HDMI 2.0) But I also would need to upgrade my receiver to support 4k (it's hdmi 1.4 Doh ) which will cost a fortune due to my theater setup requiring more than 100 (actual delivered) watts per channel so I'm somewhat biased laugh out loud. My thought on getting the 2150 years ago was the savings on lamps would pay for itself eventually and I would run it as my main tv for ~5 years until 4k projectors dropped to 1k. If I were buying a "new" PJ today I'd get the 3700 refurbished and set my 4k upgrade date to ~2 more years but you know your wallet's flexibility more than any of us. You won't be disappointed with either I'd say, especially as they take the same $99 lamp.

the 2150 is wireless (Miracast® and MHL® support) AND nearly double the rated contrast (60k vs 35k) other than that the 2100 and 2150 are the same. For the (claimed) contrast boost it was worth $50 when I bought my 2150 (I've never used the wireless feature)

Agreed. I upgraded from cheap ~$100 1080p pj on Amazon to 2100. The differences are amazing: picture quality, vertical/horizontal keystone, brightness, contrast, color control, fan noise, and no motion blur, all worth the price.

You'll enjoy it and use it more.

Love my 2150. Great projector if you aren't willing to spend more on a 4k model. Eventually I would like to upgrade to the 3800 but the 2150 is fantastic for the price.

For those that my actually fall into the trap of listening to this fool here is a link that actually compares a cheap Amazon projector, a Vankyo, to a very comparable projector to this Epson, the BenQ TH585. Actually, the Epson 2150 is better than the BenQ. https://www.projectorreviews.com/...on-review/

Damani, if you think that those 7000 lumens from those Amazon projectors are real then I've got some air to sell you.

Yeah I have one of the "good" Vankyo projectors and the Epson 2100. I'll give the Vankyo some props for being a great entry level projector that's usable but it's nothing but a toy compared to my Epson 2100. The colors on the Vankyo are washed out pretty badly and goodluck ever getting the entire image in complete focus at the same time, there's always a slightly blurry area.

I bought the 2100 last year and it's fantastic
, but I wish I could upgrade to the 2150 for wireless and contrast.

Any recommendations for a good screen to pair with this projector? I read a lot of recommendations for silver ticket but I'm looking for something a little bit more mobile as I don't have the space for a dedicated home theater.
