My impression is that locked T-Mobile phones work on their MVNOs, but not the other way around.

Can anyone confirm?

I'm able to use the T mobile test drive hotspot with a Tello SIM without any issue. The test drive device was not activated with T mobile after trial.

T mobile data is slow in my city about 5 Mbps
I went to another city yesterday and the free city test internet was 60mbps
You will also find t mobile drops signal for calls in the city and gets worse outside the city

This service has just been really, really, really bad. There is no connection more than not. I'm used to Fi, but it was pricey. Mint was decent. I figured these cheapy-type services would have gotten better than they used to be years ago, but this one really sucks. Looking for something else I haven't tried now or I'll probably go back to Mint.

This has been answered in prior threads. I don't remember the answer for sure, but it was something like 180 days
