I want to use such tablets, but the bleach will damage seals. Your toilets will eventually make long hissing noise and water will be running into the bowl for a long time. Bleach should be banned from these products. I don't understand why there has not been effective cleaning agent replacements in these tablets that don't damage seals.
FYI - this will damage the seals in the water tank.
It won't happen immediately- maybe in 4-6 months, but you will have to replace all the seals in the tank soon - which typically means you replace the whole flush assembly.

You are better off using those cleaning gels that hang in the bowl directly or those that stick to side walls inside the bowl.
You'll need to replace the flapper in the tank. It's not difficult tho!

OMG, I didn't realize that. I used to pour bleach in tank thinking it would help.. and guess what. My toilets are hissing and taking FOREVER to fill-up. One toilet takes just under 2 minutes. Any way to fix or will just replacing the innards fix it?

True, same thing happened to me. Water was leaking all day into the toilet. I stopped using these.

Beware. This ruined my fluidmaster. The fluidmaster manual does say not to use these kinds of tablets though.

Luckily I am renting and don't plan on staying much longer. Add to that the landlord is effectively a worthless slumlord and I'll be happy if he needs to spend a few bucks to replace the inmate of the toilet water tank soon after I leave.
Cheap to replace. Only about $10 to replace entire internal - https://www.amazon.com/Fluidmaste...B007TUHQWY

Any recommendations (since these cause potential seal leaks) I'm also on a septic system.

This is absolutely correct. Whoever downvoted this is clueless.

yes and it would take years of using these continuously to damage seals
