Please, do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy the GRILL Pan. This one, Lodge or any other brand.
Cleaning it gets tiring and you will end up not using it. Give it to your enemy (or those certain family members).

Buy a flat bottom pan, like this 12", for example. You'll thank me later.
Or release crap you don't want to eat.
Personally, I recommend the Lodge pans. They are not much more expensive, are on sale frequently, and are made in the US.

These are labeled as "imported." The reviews are decent for the skillet, but not great.

edit: IMO not worth saving $10 to $15.

Are these made in USA, or China? Not wanting to cook on stuff made in China.

How can you tell? Been interested in a cast iron pan, would this be a good choice or should I look elsewhere?

Woo hoo look at that $60 MSRP this is a deal I just paid the $60 MSRP last week and they told me I was the only one, ever, to pay the anchor price at Macy's.

Thanks for propagating these lies, this is not a $60 pan.

Chicken breast on these come out great as compared to flat iron pan. But it is a bit tedious to clean. I use the chain thingy but just a hassle. But I still use it once a week.

This is a really good price for their pans. But I can't find any reviews on Sedona brand cast iron. Anyone have some experience?

To clean I make sure the oils are warm enough to melt, then just wipe down the pan with a paper towel.

If something is super sticky throw in some grape seed oil to mingle a bit on low heat. Then wipe clean. No need to mess with Chains.

If you have a Lodge get this and thank me later. I'm guessing Sedona has something similar to match their ridges or maybe the Lodge one will work regardless.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I clean with kosher salt. And I can't even try to imagine getting the burnt bacon grease out from in-between those grates

Very true, I have one grill pan and 6 other flat bottom pans. The grill pan has been collecting dust and a pain to clean.
