Might not help you but I bought a bunch of 3 month keys from cdkeys 2 years ago and I added a couple 3 month keys a month ago that were still good for 3 months each.

People said the downside is if the code ends up getting redeemed then you are out of luck but that didnt happen with me.

Codes were still good 2 years later for the same amount.

I'm skeptical to save a digital code for that long. Would hate to sit on it for a year and go to use it and have it not be valid.

I bought codes from NewEgg before and tried to use them 3+ months later and they didn't work. I advise not buying them unless you can use them within a month.

I thought digital codes were almost instantaneous, or at least within 15 minutes. Not so sound like a chode but it's been over 30 mins. I actually got my Series S this evening and was hoping to at least get on Live first and see if this deal worked and then add another year and convert two years to GPU. The Newegg site says it could take up to 24-48 hours. That's a bit much.

That's still how it works, but yes Game Pass gives you an instant 1-200 game immediate backlog. I've enjoyed the hell out of it, but I'm also a big time Microsoft Rewards user so Game Pass ties in nicely with that.

36 months is indeed the limit, did you have just Gold or did you do the Ultimate conversion? If you (or anyone else) are planning on doing the Ultimate conversion again, make sure your subscription is totally expired before stacking Gold again or it'll give you 4 months for the 12 month Gold codes.

Greedy Bill Gates, guess no more under 40 a year for gold. Knew I should have stocked up on codes in the past. Had a few extra but not enough, guess I'll have to pay 50.

My sub expired yesterday, verified it and everything, tried to launch a game, etc. Said it wasn't expired.

Bought 3x 12 month codes and tried to upgrade to Ultimate for $14.99, it is giving me an error and saying it cannot be done.

With Microsoft being overly focused on recurring subscription models, you'd think that one of their geniuses would rollout a $4.99/month Gold subscription. The $30ish and $40ish annual subscriptions have all but dried up; limiting the thrill of the hunt.

Hopefully, the transaction was done on a credit card and you leveraged their "unsatisfactory goods and services" card member clause enabling them to reverse the charge(s).

I just bought 2 cards and was able to redeem and upgrade to to the Ultimate for the $14.99 for 2 years . My subscription expired 3 days ago .
