Chase Sapphire Preferred or Capital One Venture have better intro offers on better cards. This is only worth getting if you're a churner who already has those.
Edit: Both of those other card offers dropped to 60k points since I posted the above, so what I said isn't true anymore. If I was getting a new card right now, I'd probably get this one, or hold off and wait for elevated offers on those other cards to come back.
Someone who regularly gets new credit cards for their intro offers, then cancels them after a short period of time, and gets them again later when they can get the intro offer again.
With 800+ score, in the past 3 years, just applied a citi costco card and a chase UA card (both applied within the past 2 weeks). Got instant denied. Any chance to re-consider? How? Thanks.

U might start with discover and then in next 4-5 months apply again
Do they give you credentials so you can start using the card online immediately? Or do you have to wait until you receive the card in the mail before making your first purchase?
You can convert 80,000 to 800 dollars cash via mortgage payment.
1. Choose mortgage payment option in rewards, they have number to call.
2. Call the number.
3. Tell them you want to redeem for mortgage payment.
4. Ask for check payable to your bank. Chase worked for me.
5. Once check comes deposit via bank app to your account.
Then pay your mortgage or do whatever you want with it...
Chase 100% works. Other banks you have to try not sure.
You can deposit a check into your personal account if the bank is listed as the payee?

Yes via electronic deposit at chase had no issues.
But as others have stated Citi recently allowed to convert to cash one to one. It wasn't the case earlier in the year.
just fyi I checked the redemption options for my thankyou points from a checkings account. they are redeemable for GCs (home depot, albertsons, safeway, hulu, and netflix looked interesting to me) and there was an option for bill pay to a credit card. i'm not sure what bill pay is but if you can use it to pay a credit card that's equivalent to cash for me.
You will get much less than $800 in credit card payment. The exchange rate is pretty dismal.
Customer service has been dreadful. I spent the $4,000 but found out that one of the charges was still pending and didn't process before the end of the time period.
I've spoken to multiple customer service reps that have been terrible and have told me they wont do anything. Not can't, not "we will try", or anything else. They won't.
The first one I spoke to hung up on me after saying I didn't qualify.
I missed out on $800 in rewards because of $200 in charges. I'd stay far away if they treat their customers like this.

Pretty sure you have to wait. You may get the number but won't have expiration date or CVC. At least, I didn't.
