Yes it’s a 2 year warranty extension. I’ve used Citi warranty a few times, the first time was an iPhone and got the apple store out of warranty replacement charge refunded. I highly recommend their service. It’s a shame that Citi cards generally lag behind chase and Amex. The warranty is the only good thing left about them, other than this sign up bonus.

Same as Costco card. Additional 2 years of warranty. Even if original warranty is only, for example, 3 months, this card will add 2 years on top of the original 3 months.

My guess is no. I checked the uscreditcardguide website, because they make a note of when the in-branch offer is different from the online offer. And the Citi Premier doesn’t show as having an in-branch offer.

Saphire reserv has 550 fee vs this one 95??
Chase Sapphire Preferred or Capital One Venture have better intro offers on better cards. This is only worth getting if you're a churner who already has those.

Edit: The Venture's into offer dropped to 60k since I posted the above, so what I said isn't completely true anymore. CSP is still vastly superior to this deal. I'd still consider Venture personally because the Venture points are less of a hassle to use than Citi points, but you can get more value from this than the Venture if you don't mind that hassle.
80k points worth $800 if redeemed for cash, correct?

According to this article you can:

https://onemileatatime.com/deals/...emier-80k/

"Citi's general application rules apply, and on top of that the welcome bonus isn't available if you've:

Received a new cardmember bonus on the Citi Rewards+, Citi ThankYou Preferred, Citi Premier, or Citi Prestige, in the past 24 months
Closed the Citi Rewards+, Citi ThankYou Preferred, Citi Premier, or Citi Prestige, in the past 24 months"

no. If you closed within the last 24 months, no dice. Weird rule but that's how Citi rolling...

They stopped the 1pt = 1.25 for travel back in April of this year. I'm probably going to cancel this CC soon since it's not worth it over Chase Sapphire which is 1pt = 1.5 for travel (in my opinion)

Not a bad deal especially with those yearly insurance bills coming up, should be easy to hit that spending target!

Very true but didn't the promo/introductory offer used to be 60k points instead of 80k? Seems like the 1.25 travel back that's now cancelled is a bit of a wash compared to those extra 20K points.....

It mentions $800 in gift card value. But is there a way to get actual cash?
