Thanks OP. I really love this compressor, very light and quiet. Though as I move to cordless tools finding less and less use for it.

Great air compressor! It is so quiet! I prefer pneumatic nailers so it's perfect for me.

Love seeing the M18 fuel deals but agree with chunky. They make cordless nailers, high torque impact tools etc. This might be good for a garage air hose but just not sure 2 gallon compressor would provide the kind of power air compressors are usually needed for.

garage..?
this thing would be useless for a garage, it's not running a single tool.

it's such an odd product. i suppose if you want quieter for a nailer, sure. but you can get a pancake compressor, that's lighter, for 1/3rd of this price with higher PSI/CFM, and even those are useless for the majority of air tools in a garage.
i don't get the draw to it.

that's what I'm saying. It could be used to hook up an air hose in a garage. like to blow air instead of using canned air. Use to clean off cylinder heads and this and that. But that's it. Everything else that's cordless has more power than this could provide. Just picked up a battery powered Milwaukee high torque 1400 ft lb impact wrench today. Just don't use compressors for tools anymore except maybe an air hose...

This is going to fall way short for pneumatic mechanics tools - but that is not its intent.

It'll work great for pneumatic nailers/staplers. Yeah, you can get battery operated ones these days, but many of us still prefer pneumatic because of their light weight and small size - despite being tethered to a hose. Pneumatics are also much less expensive per tool (if you already own the compressor).

i picked up a set of the Ridgid nailers around Christmas time a few years back, and man the swivel hose connection makes a world of difference... in comparison, it's like the hose isn't even there Smilie
i agree on the size, the battery stuff is far too large. i wouldn't have been able to do any of the shelving in my closets with them...

my point was i don't understand this thing, even for nailers/staplers. you can get lighter pancake compressors theses days, with larger tanks for 1/3 the cost of this on sale. hell, i just put insulation and 1/4 sheething on the interior of a 10x12 pig house a few weeks ago out in the field... filled up the pancake compressor at the house, then carried it out and nailed everything with that one fill up. the insulation i used my M12 stapler, cause god that thing is AWESOME!!!

The m12 pin gun is amazing too, but once you get past 21ga they just get too big with battery.

Although if you do, stick to the m12 and their smallest battery

As they said in The Princess Bride (modified): I do not think this is for what you think it's for.
