For those who haven't seen it yet. Watch it blind. You'll love it. It is definitely one of the scariest movies out there, especially considering it's age and the practical effects they used.

I didn't think it was the most terrifying movie ever but just the right amount of terror lol. Personally my favorite horror movie of all time.

Even I purchased the 2011 prequel version which I find exceptionally good as well.

That's not entirely accurate. Nowadays it's more common, so going forward it will hopefully be the case that you can rely on 4K discs coming with 4K codes. But there are plenty of examples of 4K discs that came with HD codes: the initial 4K release of Star Trek, The Great Gatsby, the initial 4K release of King Kong, just to name a few. To be safe it is always best to reference www.4ksheet.com. [com.] Though that source can only be counted on for accuracy after a film's release.

You can easily make your own 4K movies. Just buy the bluray versions and set the sharpness of your TV to max.
