FULL REVIEW:

I have a pair of these for almost 2 years now. You can wear either one on either knee as they conform to the shape of your knees, just make sure you align the front knee circles/ovals to your knee caps. These are amazing and should provide great support for most people (not competition or extreme weights) while doing squats, leg presses, lunges, deadlifts, standing barbell shoulder presses or pretty much any other exercises that involves standing on your legs. The synthetic material is also very durable (great for regular exercise abuse and rough hiking trails) and does not fade. I have washed them inside out on both gentle and normal cycles and they still look and work like new after probably around 20-30 washes or more. Just make sure you hang dry them (dries in hours) as opposed to using damaging heat from machine drying because a little bit of the silicone grips inside may peel off over time (but the slip grips still function well for me). As with any clothes, use scissors regularly to snip off any threads that randomly sticks out so you won't have worry about pulling on those threads. I paid $14 for them two years ago. They're $16 now so $8 is a steal. I have the gray/orange ones but I just bought another pair in black this time Many of the other ones on Amazon are around the full price of these or sometimes much higher. Very important to make sure you follow the Amazon website instructions for measurements for best fit and support. If your measurement is closer to the lower range of any size on the size chart, I'd consider trying one size smaller if you're looking for more support.
Compared to my Mava knee sleeves of a similar synthetic material, this fabric is a little stiffer and feels a little more supportive for a little more confidence during those heavier leg days. Both are still flexible and work excellent. My Mava brand sleeves are a little bit more comfortable for normal everyday use especially if you wear them sitting down for extended periods of time. Because of the stiffer and slightly more supportive material, Cambivos are not very comfortable for me when sitting for long periods of time (like an office job) but does a great job for weight training, running, walking, hiking etc. At this price I would definitely consider giving them a try. I'd recommend everyone getting any brand of good knee sleeves and protect your knee cartilage/ligaments/meniscus/tendons and also lower back from future pain down the road!
I would try softer, less stiffer material knee sleeves that are NOT these Cambivos (on just one knee or even both knees) like bamboo or cotton for typical everyday wear (non-workout days, worn under work pants, around the house, etc) β€” you will probably notice better posture, balance, and energy throughout the day! Some good knee sleeves are a must-have for everyone, whether physically active or not. It's kinda like making your foundation strong with concrete instead of just wood that eventually rots! Excuse the long post, but helping people is my thing Anyways, I hope all this helps!

No that was for a pair. The modvel ones have been great. Used my first pair 3yrs through dozens of washes. Just ordered by second but curious about this brand because of the colors and cheaper price.
Any experience with modvel for working out (I e., squats and such)?

I searched SD for modvel and there were 2 recent threads. The cheaper one is for single sleeve. 2 pack cost is higher than this thread

Anyone know how this compares to modvel ones that were posted recently? These are slightly cheaper but wondering which are better quality? Using these for working out as intended use.
They are equal quality. We use both brands. I've accidentally worn one of each, never noticed til taken off.

I'm in for one with shill code laugh out loud But only because the same models for less money on eBay are too confusing due to eBay sellers using weird sizing charts that are not using circumference like the seller on Amazon. If these don't help me on the hiking trails back to Amazon they go! If they work well shoot I can measure this pair and then order more on fleabay.

All these knee sleeve are relatively the same, fitting is more important than anything. They do provide some support, but not as much as the thicker velcro knee strap. They last a long time though, I still use two cheapo sleeve I got from Amazon 3ish years ago. For these type of sleeve, it's better to go smaller and have it tight for extra support. I got the Modvel in small, It's not as tight as I would like, so I double up the sleeve for my left leg.

As for the difference between the cambivo and modvel, it's the sizing, Modvel small is 12.9 to 16.1 while the cambivo is 14.5 to 17, so it depends on what your leg size is and how much support you need. Having tighter knee sleeve will give better support.

Since these are not 10mm thick, I would not recommend them for squats. They do however look fine for high mobility activities.

Rehband are still king for squat knee sleeves but never really go one sale.
