I bought F4-3200C16D-32GTZR back in 2018...is this worth upgrading to?
I looked at a few charts and it doesn't look like it. But would love if someone could confirm.
Currently have a i9-10850k
Likely little to no real world difference at all for gaming and general usage. You'd need something seriously Ram intensive to really notice the difference between what you have and these. Even then it's not a big difference.
He's mocking you for being stupid and you double down on being stupid?
The price is actually decent if you're hunting for fast Ram and RGB. Most 4000mhz Ram is 20+ latency. This is 18 cas. As far as I can see it's the cheapest RGB kit you can get with that speed and latency.
Yes it's expensive. That don't make it a bad deal.
I don't understand how you can show a complete lack of understanding and still want to argue. You've already made it clear you don't even know what this is yet want to argue over the price.

4000mhz ram is overkill in ddr4. The sweet spot is the pc3600 = 3200mhz ram @ cas 16 or less..
I'm on the verge of buying components for a PC build with a Ryzen 5900X (I would prefer 5800X but I'm reading a lot about heat issues with 5800X). I have built PCs in the past but haven't done much regarding oc.
I think that I understand what you mean by the 4000mhz being overkill but if you did buy it what would you expect to tune it to (mhz & timing)? Also, when you say the sweet spot is the pc3600 = 3200mhz ram @ cas 16 or less are you referring to purchasing 3200mhz ram @ cas 16 or less and clocking to 3600?

Thanks!
The ram nonenclature is confusing.. the pc xxxx does not correspond exact to mhz rating. A higher pcxxxx number runs natively at lower mhz so pc3600 ram is native at 3200mhz. Someone tried to explain this early in the thread.

A RAM post should never left out timings.
