I got scammed too. Just got off chatting with a customer service agent. They will send email a return label so that I can FEDEX the brush head back to them. Luckily, I paid with Paypal so I can also get free return through Paypal.

I have used this net and brush in the past. I've learned you get what you pay for. Spend the 30 bucks plus for a good net. They last forever and they're much larger. The brush is decent but again, if you are taking care of your pool worth it to spend some money on a good brush. That said, we have a pool guy but good to have this stuff if a monsoon rolls in and he's not back til a week later or something...

Thanks! I have a wheeled vacuum head and it doesn't seem to do the best job, so I'll see how a brushed one works out for me.

Chlorine and CYA are the leading indicators of algae growth, not PH. Maintain the proper free chlorine based on your CYA level and you will never get algae. If you are using chlorine pucks, tabs or shock, you are adding cya which will eventually build up and create problems. Liquid bleach will not raise cya and is preferred or a SWG. Salt water generator prices have gone up as well. It's much more convenient than buying chlorine but the upfront cost is a huge factor. You also need to purchase acid with a SWG as the PH will drift up. Best immediate cheapest option for most people is to keep the cya low by not using pucks, tabs and shock. Then only add liquid bleach. Local Big Lots carries 128oz bleach for $2.
