When I went to the Lowe's link, Honey popped up with bonus $15 in points, plus $5 for using a discount Honey GC for payment, plus 5% Discover CB with Paypal.

$80 all in ($25 savings with tax) stacking Honey points and discount GC thru Paypal with Discover bonus quarterly points.

YMMV. It worked for me!

Thanks OP!

Been waiting for this deal.

$89.10 before taxes with military discount.

Edit: Forgot to mention the $15 Honey points also. Thanks to ArmyAnts for reminding me.

With a decent 2amp battery and 112 charger with bag, this is a decent deal if you need it....I still use corded, but with further discounts, this is tempting.

I worked it down to $80 total stacking discounts, that said. you will very likely find a 2amp battery (as included) a let down after coming off a corded. Plan a battery upgrade too.

I grabbed one about a year ago with a similar deal and don't regret it one bit. It's great for small-medium sanding projects. It gets a bad wrap for run time but IMHO it runs surprising long with the compact 3AH I keep on it. I still use corded for bigger project as anything over a 4ah makes it pretty rear heavy and awkward to use. That being said I did use it for a couple bigger projects and it held up well just needed 2-3 batteries to get through it.

I saw that and if both discounts were allowed at checkout, I would say that is great! I know Lowes will not allow me to use a military discount with a 20 off 100, as it is one or the other... so yea, I am curious. Smilie ... but voted helpful that moves you to the front.

We have a lot of DeWalt batteries, so that is not a problem. Besides the power and cheaper, the reason I use corded is less bulk and not needlessly wearing out batteries in the shop. For me, cordless is mostly a convenience for a quick job without running a cord, or where there is not any ready power.... running a generator is not cheap.

Although I do have this style in corded Makita and DeWalt, the battery DeWalt model is a 1/4 sheet sander that is kind of bulky... often too bulky. Apples to apples, the corded just have so much more power, that I save the battery ran for mobile type, or as you, for a quick smaller project.

Having a lot of tools and I do mean a lot from three generations of craftsmen, people often ask which tool should they buy and my response is that for a new person that has nothing, buy corded.... much cheaper and more powerful, they run forever and long past the death of a battery for most non-professionals.

But, being the tool addict I am... the OP with ArmyAnts coupon/discount stacking, this is tempting... lol ... that 2amp battery is a better battery than the 1.5 amp that comes with a lot of tools and the 112 charger as a step up from the 107, is just about perfect for small amp batteries.... they seem to last longer than when using the 4amp and larger chargers like the 115, 118, etc.

Sounds like your know the limitations going in. In the right application, battery power is golden (or is it yellow?). Smilie

Yes, stacking worked for me. I purchased the GC saving 4.6% off the original total ($5), paid with Discover thru PP earning 5% bonus CB ($5) and picked up the bonus popup points ($15). Thanks for your service!

It sounds like you have the discounts and coupons wired in.... thanks.

PS: Actually, I started collecting some Ryobi for the cheaper items like batteries and lights from Home Depot and Direct Tool deals....

Agree, Ryobi has some killer deals especially through Direct Tools, in fact a recent deal on a bucket fan was tempting. I've resisted the urge to stray from the red and yellow, too many tools already, LOL!
