The metal one is $13.49 currently before a $2.50 coupon, which brings it to $10.99 before tax.

Completely agree. Even if you only think you need 5 ports, you will most likely need more later. Spend a little bit more. I have gotten 8 port with metal enclosures thanks to SD for about $16-19.
