If you get it with the $50 SSD HD doubling in size to 512gb vs 256 as @anomoly states, then yes, this is a very good deal IMO. Just look at the specs on the on the AMD chip. [cpubenchmark.net] The benchmarks on that chip are awesome. 15" size is also the sweet spot for me - big enough to allow more screen space and to help facilitated cooling vs a 13" or 14" that has to be ultra compact. I have a newer Dell XPS, or otherwise I'd probably consider this, myself. The specs should "future proof" this for some time.

Thanks for the reply, yeah the 512gb model and after the 10% back at around $1100 ish I should pull the trigger.

I know this Alienware has lesser build quality than in the past but hard to ignore at this price

Grabbed this one and the g15 3060 from earlier this month. Will be interesting so see the specs side by side. If this is the 115w 3060 then it will most likely come down to cooling. Would rather have a better chasis/cooling than a difference of 256gb in storage

How are we getting the 10% CB? I don't see details in the OP except for the 2.5% SD app. Am I missing something? Is the SD extension giving 10% CB, or 2.5% combined with Dell's Financing offer, or ?

Hey, if the upgrade is only $50 to move from a 256 to a 512, I'd absolutely save myself the hassle and just pay Dell. Remember, the HD will be under Dell's warranty, as well, and you won't have to deal with loading the OS onto a new drive. Also, for the $50 upgrade price, you're not going to get anything better at 512, IMO. I'd happily pay the $50.
