Seem like the conclusion is, the 165Hz display is really good and gets plenty bright close to 400nits. The battery life is good as well. The processor (5900Hx) thermal throttles at high loads, and performance in general is underwhelming compared to other laptops with similar specs. Obviously, the cooling on this model is not as good as everyone thought.

The r5 doesn't have the vapor chamber like the other Alienware models. This is basically the g series with Alienware casing and less ventilation.
