I have 4 vacuums on my single story home, 1 each for certain areas of the house. I am old & don't get around easily sometimes. Repped, OP.
I have a bunch of corded stick vacuum for a hardwood floors (designated for different rooms/areas), 3 Dysons (2 cordless, 1 corded) for stairs/upstairs/main carpeted areas and 1 Roomba (that I do not use anymore after I bought Dysons). Dyson (& Roomba) is the best for carpeted areas, IMO.

My workplace/office has this vacuum. It's good for non-carpeted floors. Gets the job done. No experience with pet hair (my work doesn't have pets). Very lightweight, almost flimsy feeling. $45 is what I think this vacuum is worth. The $100 MSRP is way overpriced. At home I use an Eureka I got from Walmart on BF 3 years ago for $25.
Edit: Ordered one for my senior mother. This vacuum is so lightweight she won't have a problem lugging it around.
I noticed there wasn't a full description so I went to the Eureka website. The hose was what I had questions about. It turns out the hose, while detachable, is only 6.8 feet long maximum. Even with the handle being an extender for the hose, it won't quite reach the top of curtains, central air vents, etc...
Batteries lose so much of their ability to hold charge over time. They source the cheapest of cheap batteries.
Corded is not as convenient obviously and it's going to have more weight - but I'll take that along with better longevity and much more power.
great deal! thank you for sharing
Hmm interesting. James Dyson claims that the battery should last 15 years.
A typical Li ion battery should be able to undergo 500 to 800 full discharge cycles.

I own Dyson cordless - never again.

It's probably okay, but not the best choice if that's your biggest concern

Take that for what it's worth.
