My only complant is the screen.. why the hell they didn't make it able to flip around I'll never know.
Lens: I own a few Tamron and they're fantastic.
Yes. The Tamron 17-28 2.8.. I use it professionally for real estate and couldn't be happier with the results. My clients love the images. If you have any other real estate questions fire away or send a DM.
I went with the 24-105/4 when I upgraded, because the Tamron also starts at 28, and I found that's just not wide enough for a standard zoom despite the better build quality and iq over the Sony kit. The GM is just another beast entirely.

Although I love it, I recently replaced my 28-75 with Tamron 28-200 f2.8-5.6 and like the latter better as a all-in-one travel lens. Totally depends on your use case.
