How much you wanna bet they're doing better than you are.
ya they do and i think they are doing well. its a great way to play games and renting games you dont have to deal with buying a $60 dollar game.
Also there is great ways to buy gamefly like the giftcards or groupon deals and you can really get great deals.
Damn put some ice on that burn

Nier Replicant for PS4 looks to be back in stock! Haven't played any Nier games but I'll wait for a further sale like a cheapo lol. Heard it's fetch quest city from 2010, and needs to be played many times to get the full story and who has time for that? I might just YouTube that and play Automata when that's $10.
I like gamefly just as much as the next gamer but you say this as if rentals are NOT a dying breed. Netflix figured this out years ago and stopped shipping physical. B&M rental shops are a diamond in the rough. This is the first generation of consoles to launch WITH digital editions only. MIcrosoft and Sony are putting more and more into their game streaming services. It's just a matter of time for Gamefly even they will admit this if they take a good hard look at the future.
I don't think physical is going away any time soon so that is what Gamefly is going to hang onto. The majority of subscribers who want to play a launch game without paying $60-$70 is the only reason I suspect people to pay full price for a sub.
They're probably hanging on the same way a lot of cable / satellite tv providers, streaming services, and other subscription based services are. People sign up, forget or work it into their monthly budget and don't realize how much buying power they could gain by cancelling those services they're paying for all year long (and likely don't use to their full extent), use free services, then purchase the few games/movies/tv shows that are worth it at launch, worth hanging on to for replay-ability or wait for a sale like this. Majority of households in the U.S.also don't know how to save money "Fifty-three percent of US households have no emergency savings". Also possible, parents don't want to buy their kid a game every time it comes out at $60 a pop, so they budget this in and tell their kid this is what you get, make them happy then the kid can get whatever they want.
I've heard this about Replicant as well but I have also heard so many good things about it, like the story and the music in the game, but I'm struggling deciding whether to buy it at this price or wait for the eventual discount for next year. I have the ability to play the Japanese Replicant with English texts on PS3 but I still see people recommending this version instead. Any Nier fan out here that can help me out with this decision, would truly appreciate it.
Received my game today. Came with the original case AND original plastic wrap except the plastic wrap was punctured. I'm assuming they needed to quickly get the game out and didn't bother discarding the plastic wrap.
Exactly. I think about the amount of hours I'll get out of it versus the cost. Also why I never buy games at $60. Just not worth it at that price and I already have a backlog haha

Never played it. Honestly, I think about all the dumb shit I've spent $15-20 on and just go for it.

I'm the glass half full, just can't get rattled by the small stuff and glitches. Just an easy going game with a lot to do.
