I bought a cyber power rtx 3070 & ryzen 7 3700x rig. Would the GPU be an easy swap and would I need to change the PSU?

You'd definitely need to change cases or Jerry rig some fans this only has one exhaust fan no intake fans and a shady CPU cooler and a 2 fan rtx 3070

was the 3080 deal *much better* or comparable to this 3070? For mining, should i get ryzen? What about for Valorant? I hear ryzen is possibly better for fps nowadays?

Noo, should've went with the 3070.
Haha the 3070 was super tempting, but no regrets here. The 3060ti is more than enough for my needs and more inline with my budget.

Congrats on the new 3070 though, enjoy!

Supplies certainly won't last long. I just took this same system back to Best Buy in Houston 2 days ago. Great deal and system but I'm still determined to build my own AMd system so I couldn't settle. Even if it's another year wait LOL.

Good deal and repped.
I'm tempted to buy one at this price for just the graphics card. I have an AMD build going as well but damn it's taking time. I was thinking of piecing/parting out the rest after I get the graphics card lol

Definitely a great price, the GPU alone MSRP for $1049.99 if it is the ASUS TUF.
Nuts that I overpaid for my msi 3070 ventus 2x oc ($780) and now that's looking like a decent deal...

What's the wattage? For reference I have a 3600x and a 3070 and my comp has a 750w and it runs fine.

That was my initial thought but I doubt you could get more than $6-700 for the parts and I didn't want to spend $1300 for the 3080.

This was how the 3080 looked like before, not sure if components are now updated. They used what appears to be an micro ATX board, cheap cpu fan, heat sink-less ram, 1 exhaust fan.?They super cheaped out on the build just to sell you a 3080 for $2k.
huh okay so how is that not "standard stuff"? okay well
1. micro ATX board - what wrong with it? is it an off the shelf board? yes it looks to be a micro atx strix board which is not bad at all. You wont be getting an asus z590 hero
2. heat sink less ram - ram doesnt really need a heatsink first of all... at least not 1.35V ram. Its all looks so obviously they cheaped out here.
3. 1 exhaust fan (and presumably the case) - this is the weakest point as mentioned and can be fixed. Somebody here posted some guidance on this because many others ran into the cooling issue.
4. Cheap CPU fan - that CPU HSF is for sure not cheap. Thats a tower heatsink . I doubt thats what the case shipped with because that would be great. Im gonna assume an intel box flower type fan which is trash . But thats an easy replacement. .

I would be concerned if board was damaged or nonstandard (like Dell board) , cables were all over the place, PSU was some shitty brand non atx model
Overall this looks fine to me and with some updates to cooling , this will perform great. It wont have all the RGB and features of a custom made build but it looks functional and clean (if thats the stock photo).

Hey guys,

Let me clarify. I bought that rig in December. If I took the 3080 from this, could I easily swap the 3080 and 3070? The 3070 has 3 fans and an AIO cooler.

That's the lowest rtx 3070 on the totem poll.

These things with only ones fan an exhaust fan are hotter than a crack house lol. No intake fans and crappy cpu cooler horrible decision to buy this read the reviews.

Just paid about $2000 on the Legion 7i prebuilt desktop from Lenovo's site the other day. Kinda got sad when I saw the price on this deal with the same processor and 3070, but no regrets. If I waited few days, I probably would've jumped on this one instead.

Can anybody recommend a good case for this deal with sufficient cooling/room to expand cooling? Mid atx or smaller?
