Not a terrible price, but beware it has terrible cooling. You'll need to spend another $75ish and be handy enough to upgrade the cooling yourself. Most likely, if you're handy enough to do it, you'd probably be better of building yourself rather as standalone gpu prices are falling.

I have this hot rod. Took the side panel off to help with cooling. Works fine, loud as hell though. Heating issues meh, worth the price of the 3080 even with falling prices.

Description says it's a 3080 8GB which is obviously a typo. Anyone know if it's the 10GB or 12GB version?

I assume this has enough space adding a 240mm Liquid Cooler. Can you confirm?

10gb and it maybe FHR.

Plan on a new case though. The included case is trash.

3080 10GB $999.99 on newegg now can easily build it with the $800 left with better cooling.

Zotac store has faster 12GB model for $999.99

This is the way. Build a better and cheaper 12gen system.

Just a heads up that if you're a Best Buy reward member and you have your birthday attached to your reward account they randomly send out 10% off coupons around the beginning of your birthday month. If the stars align for ya that makes this deal just above $1,600 which is a steal. I was lucky enough to get one last time this computer went on sale and I was able to apply it to this machine. I used some of the savings to grab a much better BeQuiet case and upgraded CPU cooler on sale from Newegg.

any idea what motherboard is used for these prebuilds? is it an off the shelf model or some OEM/proprietary one that ASUS uses?

The Q&A section on the Best Buy website suggests it's a Hynix mobo. Why Asus is putting Hynix mobos in a "ROG Strix" PC instead of.... you know.... a ROG Strix mobo is beyond me

Odd. When I originally got it. It was a Strix board in it. I had to return it cause it was so damn hot. They should just uit a hole on the side of the case.
