I don't govee lights but I do have 4 govee wifi temp/humidity sensors and have no connectivity issues

Have the same Govee connected with no issues. Make sure your phone or device is connected to 2.4GHz on same network when setting up. On my cellphone set up also has to turn on bluetooth.
