I bought this the last time from Walmart. I promptly returned it.

The problem is, with the Ball vacuum, it is impossible to vacuum under furniture without taking it apart and changing to a different attachment. Also, the vacuum is heavy and hard move around, especially up and down stairs. If you have lots of furniture (like sofas, loveseats, coffee tables, etc.) I wouldn't recommend this vacuum, as you can't run the vacuum head under anything (because the Ball blocks it). Also, if you have stairs, I also would not recommend this vacuum, unless you feel like a workout every time you vacuum the staircase.

I will say the return was easy with Walmart. You can return it to Walmart. Or, what I did, you log into the website, go to the order, press "return". Then it lets you print a pre-paid return label (at no cost to you). Then just put the vacuum back in the original box it came in, slap the label on the box, and drop it off at the nearest UPS store for free.

I believe this vacuum was designed by a bunch of Engineers in white coats in a lab, that have never actually vacuumed a home before. Great engineering design, but horrible in practical application or use.

I find that vacuums are one of the easiest things to fix. Especially one this popular. There are a ton of videos for changing each part. If you are slightly handy it's a no brainer.

The warranty was showing on mine a while ago but now it's gone. I guess they removed it?
I am also not seeing it now on the product page, but I did check out with it. You can manually search for it and add to your purchase in the cart, it's called 3-Year Protection Plan For Appliances & Miscellaneous Electronics ... - Walmart : this is what shows on my dyson order item list.

Hope this helps, I do not know why they don't display the plan on the item page it was showing previously earlier today could be temporary or maybe they didn't want you to easily add it?

I also tried laptop so not just a browser or mobile issue.

Warranty is showing again, at least for me. I have an old dyson dc33 that is not working so great so I'll give this a try. It lasted about 10 years so I am satisfied

Thanks Everyone for help on the Warranty. It wasn't showing at all when I made my purchase but now it's showing so maybe just a glitch. No need to cancel and reorder, I was able to purchase just the 3 year warranty.

Thank again!

Bought one last year and became a big Dyson fan since. Ended up buying the V10 Absolute when it went on sale via Walmart's Refurbished site (~$250-300) and that replaced this model. Gave this one to the mother -in-law. Wife is now contemplating buying this again because she misses the plug in power and lack of battery charging. So, would buy again! (To this day, both refurbished machines work like new)

I have two long hair cats and a dog that sheds like no tomorrow. This is the only vacuum that seems to be able to put up with all that hair without needing to be emptied and cleaned every 15 minutes.

I own 3 Dyson vacuums 1 animal and 2 origin models in different colors.

I think this vacuum is the best investment since the parts can be replaced and the vacuum can be taken entirely apart by the end user to service absolutely anything wrong with it.

The brush roller seems to catch a lot of leaves from house plants but removal and snapping back on after cleaning is easier than any other vacuum I've seen.

The internal filter is a lifetime filter and it seems to do a great job.

The Origin vacuums have the lowest horsepower and the animal vacuums have a little higher horsepower with a few extra attachments. Sometimes warranty registration of the origin vacuums gets you these additional attachments for free.

This is a decent price but I've seen the animal 2 pro for $180

What's the most different from the V8 or V10, except for wired and wireless differences?
