Big ol' F on fakespot. Which means almost all of their positive reviews are fake and were written by bots and paid for by the manufacturer to try and make it so their product is more popular or more reliable as their competitors. Typical for sweatshop-made junk made by shady chinese brands such as this.

Your kidding, right? There are over 44,000 reviews for the item. There may be some fake ones, but to say they are a significant portion of that 44,000 is a bit nuts.

the fakespot page shows a large amount of reviews over a short period of time from July 2020 until now even though the product has been available for years. I highly doubt they've sold 40k+ of this one item in the last 12 months given the availability of competitive products, there are literally hundreds if not thousands of other 19-42" mounts on Amazon alone. A typical Best Buy only sells 3 wall mounts a week at most.

I have this. Bought it in 2019 for about $17. It is holding a newer/light-weight 27" DELL monitor and working great. Only thing I didn't like (but there was availability issue back then) is that it has a single screw hole on top. At the minimum would have preferred a hole in the middle too.

I used to work in Audio/Video at Fry's (RIP) and I guarantee Best Buy sells way more than 3 wall mounts a week. It's probably closer to 3 wall mounts an hour, if not higher. But the rest of your post regarding this seller's fake reviews is 100% correct.
