I have this exact chair, in blue. The chair is comfortable, good lumbar (which I need). To the poster who asked- the arm rests are cushioned, and relatively soft. Think of it kind of like the texture of memory foam-- it's not plush, but it's not designed to be.

The one and only drawback I have for the chair, is that I wish the head rest went up higher. I'm 6'0 and around 195lb, with a pretty long upper torso (probably the torso of someone 6'2" or 6'3"). I feel like I need the head rest to be able to raise up another 2" or so for it to be at the appropriate height for me. So as long as you aren't super tall (or have the torso of someone pretty tall), highly recommended.

Like the other posters mentioned- very easy to assemble, definitely not worth paying to assemble this one.

Yeah, clearly you don't get it. It's not that people are dismissing the value of a high quality chair, it's just that mentioning it in a thread about a $120 chair is beyond stupid and completely out of touch

I honestly wouldn't ever pay more than this for a chinese made chair. You can easily find haworth or steelcase chairs for the same price from office furniture resellers or private sales that will blow any chinese chair away in build and in comfort

Try the staples Kroy chair. The back locks rigidly, and that was something I was looking for. It's not super well built, though. I'm about 220 lbs and the seat bottom has torn a bit from the frame.

I bought this exact chair last November. Just recently the height will not hold so after a couple hours of sitting I need to use the level again. I called customer service today and they are shipping out a new gas lift. The agent was quite pleasant and emailed me a "how to" video to install the new part. Pretty good experience!

they didn't break. I got them for different people! I myself replaced a Herman Miller Mirra seat. The headrest on the Staples chair is much appreciated.

I was looking at that one too. This one has a headrest for $20 more. I'm gonna give this a try. If the product is anything like the negative reviews say I'll return this one and get the Costco one.

I have the Dexley in black. Got it last month. Its pretty good for the price point and comfortable. I am 5' 11' and tried both hyken and dexley and would prefer dexley. I found Hyken to be a bit small. Though i preferred the mesh on hyken, dexley sinks a tad bit more than hyken.
