About this product / service:
Cricket Wireless is a prepaid no-contract service owned by and operated on the AT&T network (coverage map).
This device is locked to the Cricket Wireless network and can be unlocked after 180 consecutive days (6 months) of active prepaid service on Cricket Wireless (unlock policy).
You may switch to any other lower-priced service plan once your first 2 months of prepaid service on the $60 unlimited plan ends or cancel service at any time. Note that you will not be refunded for unused time remaining on the amount you prepaid with this offer if you cancel before the initial 60 days period has completed.
$60 Unlimited Plan features:
Unlimited talk, text & picture messages in the U.S.
Unlimited high-speed 4G LTE data access (Cricket may temporarily slow data speeds if the network is busy)
15GB Mobile Hotspot
150GB Cloud Storage
SD quality video streaming (480p)
Mexico and Canada usage (Canada usage cannot exceed 50%)
6 months of paid usage. I have gotten some iPhones unlocked about 3-4 days before the 180 days
Up front you pay $300 for this 11 plus $120 for 2 months of service which comes out to $420 plus tax up front.
If you want to unlock it, as soon as you activate it, downgrade from the $60 plan to the $30 monthly plan. So you have 4 months paid already if you do this. If you want to unlock it, pay $30 + $30 (2 months) to total 6 months which qualifies for them to unlock it.
So you pay $420 + $60. $480 plus whatever tax
So let's say $500 for an unlocked iPhone 11 64gb
Brand new unlocked 64gb at apple costs $600 plus tax.
yes you would
Should be $299 + $120 + $60 to unlock = $480 Not that slick unless you want the service. $25 less if you use a referral.

Did their iPhone SE deal last year when you only had to pay $60 for 1 month of service and you were able to change plan to the $30 2GB for 2 months of service right after activation.
For this deal, would you be able to change to $30 plan for 4 months of service as soon as you activate?

I also did the SE deal last year. That initial $60 plan, I immediately switched to 2X$30 plan. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to do the same with this offer.
2X$60 plans will equate to 4X$30 plans, plus a possible $25 referral and you'll only be ~$35 away from 6 months and an unlock.
For the person who asked above, the unlock is requested online from your account. It's a button you press saying "request unlock"
