Found this on Google: Martensitic stainless steels (which have a ferritic microstructure) are magnetic. Austenitic stainless steels contain nickel and are non-magnetic.
Wow, you are so very wrong. Good stainless steel will not attract to a magnet.

I totally agree with you. These wooden chopstick that are coated will eventually peel off. I wouldn't want them with my food.

No one uses metal chopsticks lol. The coated ones are just as bad imho.
I have stainless, fiberglass, several polyurethane coated wooden ones, jade, and acrylic and all in all, my go to chopsticks are some upgraded disposable bamboo ones I have a case of.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've been there twice and never saw round metal chopsticks there. They had much flatter and shorter "utensil" chopsticks. *Additionally, differing from other Asian cultures, they use spoons for rice and other difficult to grasp items.
