Use managed only when you want to isolate traffic and use VLANs which 99% of people do not use on their home network. I do not either but I grabbed it for a temple where I have a network deployed.

Edit: missed the play on words. LOL
Link Aggregation (LAG) requires 2 devices that support it to correctly aggregate 2 or more links. In your case if you saw an increase in latency it was not configured properly or the wrong devices were used.

Trying to figure out if this will work with a Dante network, requiring the ability to turn off the EEE, energy management control. I'm seeing EEE can't be disabled, but a couple of reports saying they've made it work. Anyone know?
