Right up until you turn on DLSS or ray tracing, then you're eating dust.
Also, this is the ROG Flow that has a companion external dock with a GPU you can get for it. So it's an RTX3050 on the go, and then a 3080 or whatever when docked.

Personally i would just pay around same amount for the g14 with the 3060. Oops didnt mean to put that as a response lol

I get what you are saying. I think what I like more about this one is the fact that it is a 2-in-1 and has a 16:10 ratio screen... that happens to be touchscreen also.

I believe it has stylus support from what I'm reading as well.

You could do that as well, and it's not a bad choice. I was more talking about the guy who is bragging about paying half as much for something twice as heavy with a slower CPU and worse screen but a GPU that sometimes is 5% faster if you run it under the right conditions. People in general don't understand laptops, particularly if they aren't technical. They don't understand that if you want high end features you won't get them for $600.
Live chat credited $100 back on the Open Box Excellent I picked up a couple weeks ago.
Love this laptop. It replaced my IdeaPad 730s and Asus M15 since I only do light gaming and prefer a 3lb ultrabook. I had tried a G14 last year but it's such a tweener I went with the M15 instead.
Hopefully down the line the 3070 eGPU is made available in the US at a more reasonable price over the 3080.
Does this have consistent hardware trouble like that other deal?
It has a poor displays, 20+Ms response time so it's not recommended you game on it and can see visible ghosting. For example, a run of the mill 144hz 1080p display has around 7ms response times

This can't run raytracing because it has garbage 4gb VRAM, the cards a screwed because Nvidia always skimps on VRAM unlike Radeon.
