Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
There was a better deal literally yesterday, these aren't going anywhere but π, these are overpriced even at $250, at least with Sony Xm4s and Bose QC35s you can reserve some dignity wearing them in public. Good luck getting someone's number wearing these π

You just cannot beat the Sony XM4s for the quality, light weight, ANC and sound. And not to mention half the price of AirPods max.
Value - Agreed
Quality - No.
ANC - No.
Sound -No, unless you EQ them so they're not such a muddy mess.
The XM4's are fine, and for anyone who doesn't own Apple products, they're a magnificent choice, especially when you can find them under $250. Value tor the dollar, at a discount, they're hard to beat.
But the APMs have tighter, better controlled sound (better overall sound with Apple products, even lacking EQ), noticeably better ANC (including passthrough/transparency), and WAY better build quality. They also have a second-to-none interaction design and experience. (The XM4's crappy micβeven after the patchβawkward "hand over ear" transparency mode, just-as-awkward adaptive mode, and inability to easily change the ear cushions are obvious strikes against it.)
At $455, these APMs are a good deal for any Apple user who wants these now and is just as interested in features as sound. I think they'll drop some more over time, but I don't see them going new for under $400 (new) for some time.
FWIW, this is about the price I got the APMs, Open Box, at Best Buy about 4-5 months ago. If you're OK with open box. be sure to check in your store to see these drop further.
Edit: I see an open box option for $413. If you have one at your store, you might even get them to drop the price a bit, if you're so inclined.
