Great deal on a 2 pack of 25ft FATMAX tape measures. Was looking on Amazon for a basic tape measure to add to my collection. I always misplace mine and never seem to have enough. The basic ones are about $10 on Amazon. A twin pack like these is $40 there. Home Depot has a single FATMAX (25') for $21.97 (San Diego region) or a 2 pack of the same item for $19.88. So I decided to save @ $2 plus get 2 instead of one. In my location, the Santee, CA store was reporting a stock of 50 on hand. As always, YMMV.
And now - I'll have 2 more to misplace.

These particular Fat Max tapes don't last that long. The blade on the first tape got twisted in no time, and the blade on the 2nd tape rusted in no time and after that it was impossible to read. I ended up making 3 mistakes before I cut the tape up and tossed it.
4.4 out of 5 stars, people tend to really like these things - as do I. Maybe that negative guy is just exceptionally rough with his tapes.
